The Youth Services Officer:

bullet Receives complaints concerning unruly conduct, delinquency and/or neglect.

bullet Files petitions concerning the above problems.

bullet Refers juveniles to public and private agencies for various services.

bullet Supervises and assists approximately 60 juveniles on probation.

bullet Prepares and maintains all records on juveniles for the Juvenile Court.

bullet Schedules the calendar for the Juvenile Court.

bullet Keeps all Juvenile Court docket books.

The Youth Services Officer maintains a close working relationship with all law enforcement agencies, schools and service organizations.
