We hope that this web site will be used by all of the people who live in Macon County as well as by individuals and companies that are considering moving to Macon County. We also think it will contain useful information for visitors to our community.

We will be adding additional information on a daily basis, so please check back often.

We want this web site to be a county-wide resource. Whenever you find information that may be of interest to others in Macon County, please take a minute to pass it onto us. We will make sure it gets posted quickly. Please see the Contact Us page for how to get in touch with us.

We charge a small fee for business advertising to try to offset the expenses of running the web. We also would like to have some money available to advertise the site's existence in the local media. There is no fee for non-profit organizations (schools, government, fraternal organizations, community service organizations, etc.) Please see our fee schedule.

This site was started on September 27, 2002, by Charlie Myers and Leonard Berry. Charlie Myers serves as the webmaster of the site.

During 2002, Charlie and Leonard formed a corporation which is named NMT Web Designs, LLC. ("NMT," by the way, stands for "Northern Middle Tennessee!")

We are very happy to accept information from everyone in the community. We frequently receive information from the county, from organizations holding special events, etc. We are glad to publish this information for free. All information we receive is assumed to be accurate, but we cannot guarantee it in 100% of the cases.

We ask for fees from businesses to help defray our costs. Any information we publish in an ad for a business is assumed to be accurate, but (again) we cannot guarantee it in 100% of the cases. It is the responsibility of the person who ordered the ad to check it on the web site to make sure we got it correct. (We try to get them all correct, but we have a few bad days ourselves, so you need to check!) It is also the responsibility of the person who placed the ad to let us know when we need to make changes, for example, when your business hours change.

We are glad to fix any error in the web site, and we appreciate users who let us know when they find inaccurate data.

We are happy to accept photographs people submit. However, please don't submit copyrighted material.

All clipart that we use on the web site comes from www.arttoday.com and from
www.realestateclipart.com and we pay a yearly fee to each for using their service.

All business transactions with us are through NMT Web Designs, LLC.

NMT Web Designs Donates to Macon County Schools
On 2/27/2003, Leonard Berry (left) of NMT Web Designs, LLC presented a check for $2,500.00 to Mike Prock (right), Director of Macon County Schools and Patricia Ferguson (center), Technology Director of Macon County Schools. NMT Web Designs, LLC set up and maintains www.MaconCountyTN.com, www.LafayetteTN.com and www.RedBoilingSpringsTN.com. The check will be used to purchase FrontPage 2002 web design software. The software will be used by the webmasters who maintain each school's web site, at the Technology Center in Lafayette, and at the computer labs in both high schools. We are very happy to be able to support the students and faculty of the Macon County School system!
